Jimmy Budd

Executive Producer

Originally from outside Philadelphia, Jimmy Budd has been living in RVA since he graduated from the University of Richmond in 2005 with a B.A. in Political Science and four years of Men's Division 1 Soccer under his belt.  He has produced several events over the years including RVA Fashion Week (now entering its 11th year) and RVA NYE at Brown's Island. He currently works for 707 Men’s Fine Clothing located at 310 East Broad Street and is a part owner of Vagabond located at 700 East Broad Street.


Marion Batts

Creative Director

Marion Batts is an Event Manager, singer, and writer living and working in Richmond, VA. Marion started as a backstage volunteer for RVA Fashion Week in Spring 2014, and now serves in the role of Creative Director. She got her start working fashion events in 2009 with the VCU STRUT Fashion Show. She continued working backstage at STRUT for 3 years and served on the Executive Board of the GroupMODA Fashion Organization at VCU for 4 years after which she joined the RVA Fashion Week team. Throughout the years, Marion worked her way through the ranks of every front and back of house position, and after a brief stint in the U.K. landed in her current role of Creative Director.

When Marion is not working RVA Fashion Week or her day job she can be found singing at local open mic nights, writing, or practicing her guitar skills.


Michael Hostetler

Director of Media

Owner/photographer of Michael Hostetler Photography, LLC. and freelance photographer based out of Richmond, VA.  He specializes in event, marketing, portraiture, wedding, and landscape photography.  His photos have been featured in various publications as in STYLE WEEKLY, RVA Magazine, Richmond Time Dispatch, and various businesses throughout Richmond.  He is a Richmond native and has had a passion for photography ever since he picked up a camera.  Served as a RVAFW photographer and graphic designer from 2012 and is now the Executive Director of Media since 2016.

Soliel Paden

Model Coach and Coordinator

By day, Soliél is a Real Estate Professional & Business Owner based in RVA. Creatively, she is also a Runway Etiquette Coach and began pursuing modeling in 2010 getting her start with local productions such as RVA Fashion Week, VCU's STRUT and their Annual Juried Show. Her passion is bringing out the best in others and to create art with her most colossal instrument - the human body. Thus including: runway, commercial, bridal, promotional modeling, silent film and print. After gaining a professional following and demand, Soliél took to coaching aspiring models (and everyday people) in poise and confidence. Soliél has been featured in publications & runway events such as Essence Online, Weddings Unveiled Magazine, Munaluchi Bridal Magazine, RVA Mag, Need Supply Co., NYFW for Stevie Boi, DCFW, VAFW, The Washington Presidential Inaugural Fashion Show & many more! Soliél is very honored and excited to be a part of RVA Fashion Week since 2010 as a model and 2014 as a Director.
